Third Beatles DVD Not Up To Par with First Two
Originally conceived of as BBC broadcast (made for TV movie) directed by Paul McCartney and shown in B&W, this film was a flop when it first appeared in Britain. A chaotic assemblage of non-sequiters, the film has not improved a lick since its initial release (except it is now in color).As far as the DVD presentation is concerned, it does not stand up to the currently available laserdisc edition. In comparison, the DVD is washed out and with many noticeable areas of artifacting.
