It’s been 22 years since the original Wall Street, but it seems as though the sequel will actually happen, now that both Oliver Stone and Michael Douglas have agreed to reprise their respective roles. And supposedly Shia LaBeouf is in talks to play the younger dude who Douglas’ Gordon Gekko will no doubt try to seduce with greed.

But with all that time passed, and the global financial situation being what it is, I can’t help but think that audiences would be happier seeing Gekko rotting in jail for the majority of the film.
