If the idea of dropping $100k on an Ovei makes you want to puke up your Screaming Yellow Zonkers, or is outright entirely unrealistic, consider instead the @-space gaming chair from Sweden’s BeeB design duo of Johan Berhin and Esbjörn Beckmann. More after the clicky thingie…

At “only” $5000 plus shipping, the @-space gives you a place to insert your laptop or game console and 19″ display panel, but is otherwise pre-wired for them, including integrated 2.1 speaker system.

Covered in wool over a layer of “comfort foam”, with leather and other materials as available options, the @-space looks pretty cool. But it would seem that Swedes are more svelt than us big-assed Americans (as any perusal through Ikea’s chair section would confirm), as the chair seems a bit on the smallish size.

Still, it would be a super-duper gift for a spoiled-rotten kid or a jockey. Or a swede. Or somebody with more self-control than me when it comes to Taco Bell and Drakes Cakes.
