Lotus Concept Ice Vehicle Makes Arctic Expeditions Fun!
Well hell’s bells if that’s not one of the coolest things I’ve seen lately! Designed to aid in the Moon Regan TransAntarctic Expedition, the Lotus Concept Ice Vehicle slides around on skis, propelled by a propeller, fueled by biofuel, and brought to a screeching halt if necessary by a giant clawed foot. It looks like something from anĀ old LEGO Technic set, and includes ice-penetrating radar so that the pilot will know if he’s about to be swallowed up by an icy fissure. But at least it looks amazing. Which is good, because if this thing helps us find Atlantis buried under the Antarctic, we wanna make a good first impression.

It looks like it should have a jet engine on the back… not a propeller. Wouldn’t you love to drive his thing tho!! Looks like it’s be pretty difficult to roll on a flat surface and not too many trees to hit in Antarctica… FLOOR IT!!!!

Yes…or a rocket, after which it would take off and the feet would retract and you could exit the atmosphere and jump to the next closest solar system to refuel. When they get to that point, then I’ll want to drive it. For now, since its mission is to find thin ice to tell truck to avoid it, I’ll just watch from a distance.

how abt enclosing the drivers cabin so then if it hits thin ice and goes under it can move around like a little submarine
