Image Metrics is a company that specializes in incredibly lifelike facial animation. And they do it incredibly well. As proof, check out their Emily project, which shows off their technology that, unlike motion capture systems, uses no special markers, makeup or cameras. Just video that’s later fed through IM’s proprietary video analysis software. This is pretty amazing stuff. In the picture above and in the video of Emily, below, her face is all CGI, created with Image Metrics’ software.
