Now this is no fun. Citing a lack of other prominent features (no, not Terry Gilliam’s production company), Warner Brothers has decided to push back Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince all the way to next July 17th! For those of you counting-challenged, that’s just three days short of 11 months from now. Yuck. Don’t these people realize we needs us some boy wizard fun during the holidays?! Unfortunately, due to lasting repercussions of the writers’ strike and the need for a big movie next summer, Half-Blood Prince has to be that movie. Meanwhile, the first Deathly Hollows film is still on schedule to be released November 19, 2009.
