Yesss! Elf is coming to Blu-Ray before Christmas, woohoo! Sure, the ending’s a bit botched, what with James Caan’s Walter Hobbs suddenly “coming around” to the idea of having Christmas spirit for no good reason (other than it was time to end the movie), but that aside, this is a must-watch during the holidays. And any time you feel like having a good laugh. Arguably one of Will Ferrell’s best movies, there’s a whole lot to like here. Including Zooey Deschanel being adorable. And singing! And there’s definitely singing at the North Pole.
