Holy moly it’s our 100th episode! A HUGE ‘thank you’ to all of our loyal listeners! And for those of you who listen, but haven’t ever written to us, we’d love to hear from you!

Since this is also the first show of 2012, the guys also go over their favorite entertainment items of the year.

In video games, the guys talk about Skyrim, and Tony also talks a bit about Lost Winds. Miscellaneous gaming news follows.

In TV (~39:35), Tony talks about The X-Factor, Work It, Happy Endings, Revenge, Homeland, Enlightened and Celebrity Wife Swap. Lou talks about Smallville season 9, Top Chef and Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off. Then onto some general TV news.

In Movies (~1:25:00), the guys talk about Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, which they’d just seen together. Tony also talks about Friends with Benefits, Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project and, for Tony’s Classic Film Project, Malena and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Some movie news follows.

  • HP has announced their Omni 27, an all-in-one PC for about $1,200
  • There’s a new Steve Jobs action figure available for the low, low, LOW price of just $100
  • China purchased an old Soviet battleship in the late ’90s called the Kiev, and will soon open it as a luxury floating hotel
  • Giant Asian Tiger prawns are showing up in the Gulf of Mexico for some reason
  • LG will soon unveil an 84″ ultra-definition TV
  • iPad rumor: The battery life of the iPad 3 may be 20 hours
  • China is now testing a maglev train that can go 310 mph
  • Samsung rumor: The Galaxy S III may have a Super AMOLED screen running at 1280×720 and it may be glasses-free 3D
  • In other Samsung news, their new Series 9 computer monitor will be 27″, have a 2560 x 1440 resolution, and sell for about $1,200
  • HP’s new Pavilion HPE Phoenix h9 will go on sale January 8th for $1,150
