  • Sony’s NEX-7 DSLR has a ginormous HD sensor and lots of other fun features…out in November
  • Windows 8 will have an app store integrated into the OS
  • Officials in Seoul, Korea will implement women-only subway cars to try to stave off quickly-rising incidents of sexual misconduct on the subway
  • Samsung is defending itself against Apple’s tablet lawsuits by showing that the basic design for the tablet computer has been around since at least the early ’70s
  • The recent earthquake in the Washington DC area cracked the Washington Monument, which is now closed indefinitely
  • A guy named Mike Laub baought an old casino in Lake Tahoe and found a 4′ tall safe completely sealed inside walls under a stairway. His son plans to open it live on the intarwebz
