In this episode, Tony talks about Split Second and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. and Lou talks about Fallout New Vegas on the PC. Miscellaneous video game news follows.
In TV (~32:40), the guys start off with The Event. Tony goes over Glee and 30 Rock’s live episode. Lou follows up with Chuck, Stargate: Universe, Fringe and Chase, with random TV news tidbits after that.
In Movies (~1:01:20), Tony saw I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With. Lou still hasn’t seen anything. Miscellaneous movie news follows.
In the Mash-Up segment (~1:21:25) the news this week includes:
- Intel will spend up to $8 billion to update some U.S. factories.
- Neiman-Marcus’ limited edition, $75,00 Camaro Convertible sold out in 3 minutes.
- Apple announced new MacBook Air models today, as well as OS X Lion and a few other things
- Western Digital’s 3TB hard drive will go on sale soon for about $240. A 2.5TB version will be about $190.
- AMD’s Radeon HD 6850 and HD 6870 will go on sale on Friday.
- Macy’s is introducing a “magic mirror” at their Herald Square store in NY that’ll let guests try on clothes by having them digitally superimposed on their reflection in the 6′ mirror.
- HP has unveiled the Palm Pre 2, running HP WebOS 2.0. We’re not sure if that’s good. Or whatever.
- Buy a Windows 7 Phone device this year and you’ll get 4 months of Zune Pass from AT&T and Microsoft, as well as a few other goodies.
- Dell has just announced 8 new LED-backlit LCD monitors, including the Studio Line, which are all 1920 x 1080, range in size from 22″ to 24″ and in price from $199 to $229.
- Sony has begun outsourcing production of some of its high-end LCD TVs to Foxconn subsidiary CMI and Wistron.
- Hammacher-Schlemmer is selling an “Emotive Robotic Avatar”…for $65,000. Get in line.
As always, the end of the episode is when Tony & Lou reveal their votes for this week’s Best & Worst entertainment moments.

Lou! Tony!
Thanks for the mention and the kind words as well. I hope your listeners will check out Donna’s Revenge and if they do, I hope the enjoy it. Allow me to shed some light on the the two main cast members:
Seana Kofoed plays Donna Wickland. She also wrote and produced the series. You may remember her form ABC’s Men In Trees.
Eddie Jemison plays Dr. Wanglang. He was most recently on HBO’s Hung and has been on all 3 Ocean’s movies (11, 12 & 13).
Some of the others (in later epsiodes) include, well, a lot of Chicagoans, actually… Suzy Nakamura, Rusty Schwimmer, Scott Lowell…
Oh, and Tony, I believe there’s a babelgum app for the iPad now. 🙂
