In this episode, Tony talks about the Enslaved Demo on the PS3 as well as the demo for Castlevania: Lord of the Shadows. and Lou talks about Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on the PC. Miscellaneous video game news follows.

In TV (~28:50), the guys have TONS to talk about, starting off with The Event and Modern Family. Tony goes over Glee, Boardwalk Empire, Lone Star, Cougar Town and Mike & Molly. Lou follows up with Chuck, Hawaii Five-O, Chase, Fringe and then the guys spend a bit of time talking about Top Chef: Just Desserts. Random TV news tidbits after that.

In Movies (~1:04:25), Tony saw The Social Network, but Lou hasn’t seen a movie since the last show. Miscellaneous movie news follows.

In the Mash-Up segment (~1:19:25) the news this week includes:

  • Google TV has been announced, and Logitech has launched the first Google TV product, Revue.
  • Verizon will debut LTE (their 4G service) in 38 cities before the end of the year, with half a dozen or so 4G devices available in the first half of next year.
  • Jaguar has unveiled its C-X75 hybrid electric supercar concept.
  • The iPhone will hit Verizon in early 2011.
  • Iran’s Bavar 2 is a stealth plane and flying boat with machine guns and maybe missiles. Yipes!
  • Ferrari World will open on the 27th in Abu Dhabi.
  • A company called Universal Designs is selling TRON Legacy lightbike suit replicas for just under a thousand bucks.
  • Tesla has recalled 439 of its 2.0 and 2.5 Roadsters for an electrical issue that could be a fire hazard.
  • Sony has a new 16.4MP camera sensor that shoots 1080p video…and it’ll be in phones next year.
  • Toshiba will release two glasses-free 3D TVs in Japan this December.
  • A VW Passat BlueMotion sets a record for most miles driven by a stock production car on a single tank of gas.
  • The Windows 7 Family Pack is back…$150 gets you Windows 7 for three PCs at home. Or $140 if you get it at Amazon.
  • Scientists have discovered what they believe to be the first extrasolar, earth-like planet in Gliese 581g.
  • The UN has appointed Malaysian-born astrophysicist Dr. Mazlan Othman as the head of the Office for outer Space Affairs.
