Ok, I didn’t want to have to call you out on your own show, but here goes. Resurrection Sickness is purely a debuff. It’s likely the most hated debuff in the game.
You gain this debuff every time you resurrect at the spirit healer. Characters level 10 and under will NOT gain resurrection sickness. Characters level 11-19 will gain one minute of resurrection sickness for each level above 10 (i.e. a level 15 character will get 5 minutes). Lou, this is why your alt didn’t have the full 10 minutes i was referring to in the last post. This is where the debuff maxes out. Characters level 20 and up will gain 10 minutes of resurrection sickness. The attribute decrease only affects your base stats, not your total stats. It decreases all attributes by 75% and all damage caused by 75%. What it does NOT do is take any items from your gear, weapons, bags, etc. It’s not suggested that you do any fighting while you’re down with the sickness. Go train, hit the AH, do some dancing or find an armory and fix your gear.
It’s basically a reason to go find your body.
I’ll throw this up on FB since Tony doesn’t read any of this stuff.
Loved the Book of Eli and I’m about halfway through Uncharted 2 and having a ball. What a cinematic game.

Oh, sorry, I thought you said it didn’t affect anything in inventory. My mistake…I’ll try to remember to give you your props on the next show 😉
So…have you seen 24 so far? Did you see Monday’s? I won’t say anything until I know you’ve seen it…
January 21st, 2010 at 3:21 pm
Yeah, saw it.
I was thrilled to see Kim go. That character is so frickin’ stupid, it drives me batty. I’m also really offput by the whole Dana/Jenny and her ex plotline. It’s a waste of time. Glad to see Chloe back to her old self and i also don’t care for the new CTU director. Guy can’t act. Looks like Renee grew some balls while we were out between seasons though.

I like Kim, but only because she’s Elisha Cuthbert, if you know what I’m sayin.
The Dana/Jenny/ex-boyfriend thing is annoying, but it’s also a plot staple of the show, so I think there’s always going to be a situation like that (for whatever reason).
Mykelti Williamson is driving US batty! What’s with the “Lurch stance”?! He’s always hunched over, and his character’s kind of a mo-ron. I don’t get it. Why is CTU often plagued with leaders who are kinda clueless?
Renee scares me now. And, thanks to you, every time she comes on screen, one of us says “Hey, isn’t that Chesty McFreckles?”
Love that the President of [random ficticious Middle Eastern Arab nation] is a good guy, though, through-and-through. It was great that he didn’t leave Squinty Reportington out to dry.

Haha, yeah, Chesty is back. Ya gotta admit that it has a ring to it. Personally, I prefer her over Kim any day. Kim was looking rode hard and put away wet. She’s attractive as long as she doesn’t open her mouth and try to act.
That lurch stance drives me nuts too. I’m wondering if it’s necessary for him to show us his little device every time he hangs up from his ear piece. He’s so obvious about holding it up in full view and brazenly clicking it off. OK, we know you’re cool cause you have a bluetooth headset. Now call an actor coach and sign up for some lessons.
Good to hear you’ve got your hunter almost capped. I took my DK back over to my original server. I never saw you online and that guild is full of dorks. I was having a hard time getting past all of the the LOLs at the end of every sentence. I just transferred the DK back to Garona and got her to Northrend the other day. Spending some time in “Boring” Tundra. Since I’ve already capped my hunter, it seemed a little silly to try and level another one to 80 as well. And the DK is an amazing class. It’s almost unstoppable, especially with the Unholy build.
January 26th, 2010 at 2:53 pm
I’ll have to go back to my DK at some point and try it out. I played it only for an hour or so.
Sucks that you left the server, but I see your point. They do LOL a lot, don’t they?
My Hunter’s finally 80 as of…Sunday i think. I have a level 25 Warrior and a level 22 Mage. The Mage is tough to play. Well, not so much tough as it is a bit tedious. You just have to stop & drink much more than you do with other classes.
With my Hunter, I almost always have it set to Aspect of the Viper…sure it uses more arrows and takes a bit longer to kill something, but it’s easy enough to switch to Dragonhawk when you need it, then flip back to Viper (I have them on ‘-‘ and ‘=’ to make it easier) and with Viper you never run out of Mana. So I’m not used to having to drink up so often.
The Warrior’s more visceral and obviously has much better survivability. Plus he’s just kinda fun.
I have a Shaman that’s level 13 or something. So far, I’m not really “getting” that class. I might want to try a Rogue. I’m also thinking of trying a Horde character just to have some different scenery. I wish they would’ve done starting area based on class rather than race so that there’d be something new with each new class.
But that’s just me.
