I was happy to see the 24 review. What i can’t stand is that Kim is back. For someone supposedly from Jack’s loins, could they have found someone more brainless and stupid? Good lord, why didn’t she die 7 seasons ago? But at least they’ll have Chesty McFreckles back.
Interestingly enough, they said Roger Rabbit will be kept 2D. Seems like a waste of time to me.
Thumbs up for Layer Cake, wildly so.
And you’re both wrong, Unbreakable was Ding Dong’s best.
As for SGU, i’m feeling about the same as you are about it. I don’t really care much about any of the characters. I like the captain and the scientist, but the rest i could care less about. the smart, geeky kid needs to man up and quit being such a puss. the close up of the uninteresting couple making out or having sex actually caused me to blurt out ewwwww and pull on my gag reflex. the girl is horribly ugly and uninteresting. i think Lou Diamond, who i normally like, signed an agreement that he had to randomly show up in a body switch every 3 episodes for no apparent reason. and be pissy. i’m not as wound up as you about there not being a bad guy. it’s about the trip and the gas stops, but i can’t see them stretching that concept beyond a season because it will get old. I don’t think the scientist is evil, i think he’s just adamant about their destiny and cares to much. like Tony. and i don’t care about the dust. it’s like the smoke on Lost. It’ll show up occasionally, but not serve any real purpose other than knocking off extras and red shirts. which makes me wonder why i’m still watching this show. but somehow i’m drawn to it.

I happen to dig Chesty McFreckles. I think you’re being too hard on her…LOTS of people on that show are stupid. Which is good, because they make up for the people who are SO smart that they can plan 27.3 chess moves ahead, including the random reactions of others 😉
Re: Roger Rabbit…like you say…waste of time.
Egads, I thought ‘Unbreakable’ was really bad. I was bored during the whole film.
Yeah, I dunno what’s up with SGU, but I know what you mean. I think I’m hoping it’ll become great soon, so I keep watching. I thought the show was supposed to be more like ‘BSG’ not more like ‘Sunshine’ – I don’t care about the inner conflict of the crew unless there’s ALSO outer conflict.
I don’t think even ONE season of gas stops will work, personally.

a little confusion. Kim is not Chesty Mc. Rather Agent Renee Walker – http://www.anniewersching.com/home/index.php?location=home
is chesty. While Kim isn’t bad to look at, i just can’t get over how frickin stupid she is. It’s literally a turn off.
And i loved Sunshine. BSG as well, but i guess you and i don’t appreciate character development the same way.

Ohhhhhh, that Chesty McFreckles…yeah, she’s pretty yummy too.
