Heya fellas,
I just caught the second ep of Flash Forward and i had a few thoughts.
1. Joseph Feinnes is a horrible actor. Way over the top. Not a good choice for the lead in this show. He looks like he’s trying to flex his acting muscles in every scene he’s in.
2. Marriage between he and Sonya Walger isn’t believable at all.
3. That being said, the others are a little more believable. I liked Cho’s performance. He reminds me of Tim Kang in the Mentalist. Very black and white, but appreciated for that difference from everyone else.
4. I’m wondering where the flash came from, as is everyone, but i’m wondering if it wasn’t put there, not to see what was going to happen in the future, but to persuade what would happen in the future. Feinnes seems intent on making the board from his dream a reality in real life. In other words, he gets the picture of the burned babydoll and only puts it on the board in the spot that he saw it in the flash. by doing that, the hand of a greater being (whatever it may be)is swaying Feinnes’ future to look like what this being wants Feinnes’ future to look like. Had he not had the flash, the board may look differently.
5. For a moment, i thought Cho may have been the lonesome awake from the game since he doesn’t recall his future, but that doesn’t seem right. Otherwise, he’d have remembered and now we see someone telling him he was in their flash.
This show is going to have to start doing better to keep me watching. It has just enough going for it on each episode to keep me intrigued. But just little enough to make me drop it like a bad habit.
And btw, Lou, is there any chance that you’ll post some of the links to the mash up area here on the site? You zip through it so fast, i miss half of it. I’m typing in my browser like a madman trying to keep up with the different items.

And i notice you guys didn’t talk about Google Wave. No thoughts on it?

We are recording tomorrow, so we will bring up all of your points on Flash Forward…Google Wave too. Thanks Strich.

Haha, good point about the Mash-Up items, thanks. I’ll see if I can do that moving forward.
As Tony said, we’ll talk more about Flash Forward tomorrow when we record.
Did you happen to watch Stargate Universe? That’s another one I want to discuss this week because, well, it just debuted and also there was one major thing that I didn’t dig about it.

We watched about half of SGU. I fell asleep in the middle of it. Might have been how late it was or the tequila shot i’d had 45 minutes earlier, but we haven’t finished it yet. 🙂
